Derek joined Mundi Financial in 2025, bringing more than six years of experience in the financial services industry. As a Wealth Management Consultant, Derek partners with colleagues to build strategic financial plans while providing a high level of personalized, white-glove service.
Driven by a passion for financial literacy and a desire to help others feel secure, Derek holds both Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as a New York State Insurance License. He thrives in Mundi Financial’s family-like atmosphere, where he enjoys supporting the team and connecting with new people.
Born and raised in Monroe, New York, Derek continues to reside in his hometown where he enjoys giving back to the community. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from SUNY Oneonta.
Outside of work, Derek lives a life rooted in creativity, community, and adventure alongside his wife. He volunteers at his church, enjoys hiking, plays acoustic guitar, and has a deep love for sports both as a fan of football and basketball, and as a coach mentoring young athletes.
